New record from the John Butler Trio “April Uprising” came out in April. Some new band members for this dynamic unit from Freemantle, Australia. This record follows their very strong “Grand National” from 2007.
Rolling Stones re-issue their Tour De Force album “Exile On Main Street” this month. 10 “new” tracks are included. These songs were recorded during the original sessions, but were lost or discarded. Still worth checking out for Stones fans.
June will give us the New Jack Johnson album “To the Sea” recorded in his Green Studio powered by 100% Solar Power. First single “You and Your Heart” features a very memorable guitar riff..! Johnson is an artist that goes about it the right way.
And the New Tom Petty & Heartbreakers “MOJO” album soon arrives following the MUDCRUTCH record. It is a “Live in studio” effort with no overdubbing…Band in their pure form..
